So I am trying to get up at 5 am every morning. Today was only the 4th morning. They say it gets easier with time. That it only takes 14 days to create a new habit. I surely hope so, because right now sitting in front of my laptop I feel exhausted. And it is only 10 am.

I am doing this to create time for myself. All part of the self-love journey. That self-love that is so important to live a fulfilled and happy life.

Change is not easy. Right now it feels like it is very hard. But if we want to grow, we will have to change. No matter how uncomfortable it feels.

And creating a new habit is just as good a place to start. You can create a habit to take 10 to 30 minutes each day to declutter your home. Or you can commit to spending 20 minutes of quality time with your kids each day. Or you can get up earlier in the morning, like me.

Our habits shape who we are. And the power of a healthy habit is far-reaching. A habit is when a behavior becomes automatic. To be honest, I can’t wait for when getting up at 5 am is going to happen automatically. But will let you know as soon as it happens.
