This pic makes me laugh … like that deep from the stomach kind of laugh … that tears start rolling down your cheeks laugh:-)))

The girl on the right really wants to sit next to the boy on the left. He is my eldest. And my eldest really wants to sit next to the girl on the right. It is his first love …<3

They have been trying so hard to get next to each other BUT every time … SMACK, BAM, WANG … right in the middle is my youngest!!! Making sure that he is not left out … that they remain a trio and not a duo.

Although I have absolute compassion for my eldest's frustration at this point, I cannot help to admire the determination of the youngest to always make space for himself … right in the middle. He looks so impressed with himself. He is exactly where he wants to be.

I learn so much from observing them. When was the last time you made some space for yourself? We are forever standing back for others and making excuses for ourselves.

Sometimes we just have to squeeze ourselves right there in the middle to get what we want. We have to make space for ourselves, our needs, and our dreams.

Greg McKeown says in his book, ESSENTIALISM … “If you do not take control of your life, someone else will.”

So instead of being pushed to the side … push back a little bit harder for what you want and for achieving that decluttered home.
